Every dairy farmer would like to feed his animals better and more effectively. Many research results support that more frequent feeding results in higher feed intake and higher production. On top op that, it improves the cow’s health, condition and lifetime. This is a fine and useful theory, but usually the labour involved is the limiting factor to implement it. Triomatic, the automatic feeding system of Trioliet, now enables you to make this wish come true without having to sacrifice any more of your precious time. The Trioliet automatic feeding system also improves your milking robot’s milking frequency because fresh feed has a positive influence on cow traffic.
At the Triomatic T30 feeding system, the feed kitchen consists of several feed bunkers that stock each type of feed for one or two days. The Triomatic T30 bunkers can be loaded easily with a loading gear. The feed will be transported by the bottom chain, by the angle and the 2 dispenser rollers, the amount of feed discharged into the robot will be controlled accurate. The feed need to be easy to loosen up, it has to be cut/chopped in a maximum length of 15cm.
The second component is the feeding robot, in fact a small diet feeder cart with vertical mixing augers that moves independently through the stable, suspended on an overhead track powered by an electric power supply rail. The system mixes and distributes the feed.
The Triomatic T30 bunker is easy to load with a loading gear / silage grap, it need to be done once a day or two days, appending on the feed and weather circumstances. The loose and cut/chopped feed (max. length 15cm) will be loaded on the horizontal part of the T30 bunker. With a loading gear / silage grap attached to a wheel loader or tractor with frontloader, the T30 bunker can be loaded with approx. 18m3 feed. Even the T30 bunker can be loaded again while it is not empty, because of the horizontal part.
The feed will be transported by the bottom chain, the steep angled part will take care not too much feed in the same time will come to the top. The dispenser rollers will take care of an accurate loading of the feed robot.
A process computer controls the entire feeding process. In a conveniently arranged programme you enter all rations, feeding frequencies, feeding times and group classifications. The machine carries out your instructions line by line and, if required, exactly reports back to your feed management system or to your nutritionist what has been fed. Communication with (feed) management software on your home PC is easy.
