Saving of time

In comparison with our other Silage Block Cutters, the TU 180 XL is able to cut 25 cm deeper. Together with the larger block capacity (3,4 m3) and the higher hydraulic capacity (max. 65L/Min), the TU 180 XL will produce a saving of time of 40 to 50%. Due to its hydraulic capacity, cutting runs faster and after pushing off the blocks, the cutting frame moves up faster. On a dairy farm with 100 to 120 dairy cows, this corresponds to a saving of time of approximately 2 hours per week.

A larger block capacity

The cutting system has 6 additional teeth on the side knives by which it is able to cut 25 cm deeper in comparison with the stand Silage Block Cutters. On the basis of a cutting depth of 1,05 m, a cutting width of 1,80 and a cutting height of 1,80 m, a block capacity of 3,4 m3 can be achieved.

Stable block and higher safety

Because of a 25 cm deeper cutting depth, the block is very stable and will not fall over. This means higher safety and a better feed quality.
To create a better view while loading the Triomatic feed kitchen and when using telehandlers and shovels, the main cylinder has been fixed in the middle. Due to this, one will have a better view while cutting and putting aside the silage blocks.

Due to it’s solid construction, the TU 180 XL is found very suitable to couple to telehandlers and shovels.
