Trioliet's premises growing to 51,000 m2

Saturday 27 September was the day Trioliet's new building project was officially given the green light. A new logistics centre and assembly area will see company premises expand to more than 51,000 m2 in the coming months.

The 7,400 m2 extension was officially opened by co-founder Cees Liet Snr. and his wife Rita. All 200-plus employees and their families were invited for the occasion, with the total number in attendance coming to more than 700. It was a great opportunity for employees to show their families how cattle feed machinery, which is exported to more than 40 countries worldwide, is made in Oldenzaal.

Today, the family business is headed up by Robert Liet, son of co-founder Cees Liet Snr., who established the firm in 1950 along with his two brothers (the Liet trio). In the early years, the company was known for hay blowers and silage cutters, but nowadays its (self-propelled) mixer feeders and automatic feeding systems are sold all over the world. The increasing efficiency of livestock farmers means they expect more and more of their feeding machines. Consequently, demand for high-capacity machines is increasing and cattle farmers are going to resort to even more automation. Trioliet has grown into a world player and total supplier in the field of feeding technology over more than 60 years.
